Summary
We collect only what we need to make your child's videos, we delete photos 30 days after delivery, and we never sell your data.
Who this is for
Santa Knew is a service for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information from children. A parent provides the child's first name, age, details and photos to create a gift for that child.
What we collect
Your email, your child's first name and age, the text and photos you choose to upload, your order and payment status (card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers), and standard device and analytics data (e.g. pages viewed, ad click IDs).
How we use it
To make and deliver your videos, to send you emails about your preview and order (you can unsubscribe at any time), to provide support, to prevent fraud, and to measure and improve our ads and website.
Processors
We use trusted providers to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), AI providers that generate voice, video and images from your inputs, Meta (ad measurement) and Amplitude (analytics). They process data only on our instructions.
Retention
Uploaded photos: deleted 30 days after delivery. Finished videos: kept for 1 year so you can re-download them, then deleted. Order records: kept as required for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time: support@santaknew.com. Depending on where you live (e.g. UK/EU GDPR, California), you may have additional rights.
Children's privacy
Information about a child is provided by their parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
